Our online courses are completed through our Student Portal. You receive access to a wealth of high quality learning resources, written by trusted hair and beauty professionals. Course content includes interactive online learning, downloadable resources and detailed video demonstrations. During the theory sections you will take multiple choice online tests which are great for checking your understanding and learning as you progress through the course. These can be taken as often as needed until you achieve a pass. Once you have finished the theory section you will progress through the practical section of the course, with video demonstrations. You can watch the videos as many times as you wish to enable you to practice alongside your training. You also have the opportunity of attending a free training webinar with your tutor.

You can complete this course at your own pace. You will have 4 months from purchasing your course to access the Student Portal and submit any assessments. If you require an extension, please contact your tutor. The length of time it will take you to complete your qualification will depend on the course you are studying, how you interact with the material and how many hours of study you dedicate per day / week.

Yes, once you have completed your course and passed the required assessments you will be able to purchase insurance to enable you to provide services to your clients. Your qualification will be through IPHM Beauty.

Yes, all training courses are fully online and no in-person attendance is required.

Once you have registered for your course you will receive an email with your link to access the Student Portal along with your login details. The Student portal can be accessed through desktop, tablet and phones. You will find a link in the avigation bar of this site. If you are using a tablet or phone there is also an app available to download, simply visit the App Store and search Talent LMS. When prompted for a domain enter: thehairandbeautyacademy followed by your log in details. We recommend your first point of call when you log in is the Additional resources tab in your course. Here you will find your practical case study reference materials including client consultation forms and feedback forms available for you to save or print these forms to use at a later date. When you purchase a course, you will receive a detailed list of required products and equipment as part of your resources, some product and equipment kits are available to purchase through our website.
